Axia Technology Partners hosted a cybersecurity seminar in June that was designed exclusively for financial institutions and covered the current state of banking, credit union and financial network security.
With the success of that event, AxiaTP is planning additional events in July and August, and is broadening the scope in order to widen the audience.
“Cyber security is an ongoing challenge for every business in every industry,” said Josh Ross, co-founder and managing partner at AxiaTP. “Our goal for these seminars is to promote safe practices and policy structures for cyber-attack prevention and risk mitigation.”
The seminars feature an expert in ethical hacking from CheckPoint Software Technologies who will discuss various threats along with threat prevention and appliance mitigation. Additionally, a federal law enforcement representative will be on hand to discuss the latest threats published by state and federal law enforcement agencies.
The next event will be on July 28th from 11:30 – 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided. For more information, go to www.axiatp.com/cybersecurityseminar.
