AxiaTP Advisory Board

The mission of the AxiaTP Advisory Board is to council and advise executive leadership in an effort to further develop the culture, structure and strategic direction of AxiaTP.  The members are leading professionals from various backgrounds that possess specific expertise in their business verticals and have agreed to bring those expertise to assist in the development of this high growth technology company.   

ForrestForrest Adam currently serves as SGI’s Chief Operations Officer with more than 24 years of experience in designing and deploying complex process solutions in support of the healthcare industry. He oversees SGI’s information technology, production, and fulfillment services ensuring the goal of continuous improvement and process innovation are achieved for the benefit of SGI clients. Prior to joining SGI, Mr. Adam was the MIS Director for a national retail pharmacy chain where he managed information systems supporting the largest pharmacy warehouse in the country.

Since joining SGI, Mr. Adam has spearheaded numerous process innovations including deployment of radio frequency inventory tracking, client relationship management (CRM), a wide array of internet ordering sites, and an award winning client inventory management portal.

Gerry_Bailey_B&W2As the Managing Director of iLAB North America, Gerry Bailey is charged with leading and managing all Operations and Sales efforts for iLAB in North America, including consulting, managed solutions, and managed services. Gerry has over twenty‐eight years of experience in technology leadership in industries ranging across Health Insurance, Healthcare, Bio Life Sciences, and Federal Contracting. He spent twelve years in the United States Air Force as a Communications Officer. After leaving active duty, he became a consultant in the telecommunications industry and later moved on to lead the Enterprise Technologies Division at Haverstick Consulting. Gerry joined Team iLAB most from Fifth Gear, a direct retail and warehousing company where he was the Chief Information Officer.

Gerry received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.

Anthony BrowneAnthony Browne 
has over 20 years of executive, financial and operational management experience in a variety of industries.  He is currently the President of 3H Capital which is a diversified investment company with both passive and active investments in healthcare, real estate and craft brewing.  He is also currently the CFO for Monument Chemical, a specialty chemical manufacturing business. Previous experience includes the role of President and CFO of Equian, a high-growth healthcare technology and payment integrity firm which had a successful exit under private equity ownership. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois School of Commerce and Business Administration and achieved an MBA from the University of Texas with a concentration in entrepreneurship and finance. Anthony is a former member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a worldwide leadership forum.

RonRon Carter currently serves as an Equity Partner for the Steward-Carter Group; a leading business consulting firm who specializes in offering clients strategic advantages in the marketplace through obtaining economic incentives, site selection assistance, public and government relations, and general business consulting.

Mr. Carter brings a wealth of senior public policy management experience from over 20 years of government service. Mr. Carter is expert on national security and business matters related to Homeland Security, Defense, Supply Chain, and Public-Private partnerships. Throughout his career he has helped clients market their products to federal, state, and local government entities, and resolve disputes involving public policy matters.

Mr. Carter was an originating member of Transportation Security Administration, the largest government startup in history (growing to 55,000 employees in less than 12 months) joining former Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta’s TSA Task Force as its Chief of Staff just weeks after the 9/11 tragedy. During Mr. Carter’s tenure with the TSA, he served as a key senior manager in the federalization of aviation security, directly advising Secretary Mineta and his staff. Mr. Carter was also responsible for driving technology enhanced service provision in passenger, baggage, and cargo screening to meet strict Congressional mandates. Communicating with Congress and coordinating with Top 100 private industry, Mr. Carter was an integral part of the security measures undertaken by our nation for seven years. Previous to his tenure with the federal government, Mr. Carter served as Senior Policy Advisor directly to two cabinet officers for the State of Tennessee.

A professional military officer, Mr. Carter is an 25 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps as a Battalion Commander, Commanding Officer, an M1A1 Abrams tank commander, and a specialist in logistics and transportation. Mr. Carter represented the Office of the Secretary of Defense reviewing and critiquing Top Secret/SCI war games and strategies, cutting-edge technologies, and future weapons platforms in support of DOD Transformation. He continues to serve in a joint billet as a member of the J5 Plans Directorate of US European Command in Vaihingen, Germany.

Having grown up in the music industry, Mr. Carter has been surrounded by entertainment industry professionals his entire life. His father, Fred Carter Jr., is a world-renowned guitarist whose credits include Simon & Garfunkel, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, B.B. King, The Band, and many others. His sister is Country Music Star and Country Music Association (CMA) “Song of the Year” award-winner, Deana Carter.

Mr. Carter holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University along with professional certificates from the Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina and the Naval Post Graduate School, Monterey, California.

Wil_DavisWil Davis co-founded Ontario Systems, LLC, headquartered in Muncie, IN, serving as its CEO until 2008 and as its Chairman until the recent sale of the company. Mr. Davis is also currently serving his alma mater, Ball State University, by assisting them with the protection and commercialization of new intellectual property created by the university’s faculty and staff. He has also launched Noble Why, LLC, an organizational effectiveness consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations foster passionate, purposeful, and productive cultures where there is both an individual and collective pride in the work being accomplished.

Mr. Davis is an entrepreneur with both his BS and MBA from Ball State University. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Additionally, Mr. Davis is an author, sought-after speaker and training consultant with over 30 years of leadership experience. He has a true passion for helping companies develop and maintain successful and inspiring corporate cultures.

Prior to co-founding Ontario Systems, he gained financial, engineering, and software systems experience with Mutual Bank and General Motors. He currently serves as a board member for a number of organizations, including IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, AAA Hoosier Motor Club, and Mutual First Financial Corporation/Mutual Bank, among others.

JohnJohn Fleming is a partner at Densborn Blachly LLP, a business focused law firm using innovation to achieve results for clients. Mr. Fleming advises businesses on complex transactions, including commercial finance, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Densborn Blachly, Mr. Fleming was a partner at the law firm of Feagre Baker Daniels where he was group leader of the syndicated lending practice.

Mr. Fleming is a graduate of Wabash College and has his J.D. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Brad KimeBrad Kime is currently Senior Vice President at Signpost, a venture backed start-up software company based in NYC.  He runs all sales channels as well as the talent function.  Brad is the former President and Chairman of OnDeck from 2009 through 2013. He ran the company leading up to OnDeck going public in 2014 (NYSE:ONDK).  During his tenure of leadership, the company grew revenues from $4 million to $40 million.  Brad spent much of his career prior to 2009 in Indiana as President of the Commercial Banking division of Irwin Financial Corporation (which is now part of First Financial Bank).  The group encompassed 650 employees in 10 states and was named one of the top 20 places to work by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce in 2006 and 2007.

Mr. Kime graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and holds an MBA in marketing and finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

TimTim Shrout has been a member of the Axia Advisory Board since inception and has provided strategic direction and help in guiding the company through the critical stages of growth and development. 

Mr. Shrout led several successful start ups in the areas of Real Estate and Biotech. Mr. Shrout also serves as the President and CEO of Cedar Run Limited, Inc. and the Samaritan Companies, a family of related entities with a long history of successful developments throughout the Midwest. Most notable among these developments is Heartland Crossing, a 1,500-acre master planned community comprising portions of three counties in suburban Indianapolis. Mr. Shrout’s other developments include condominiums, office buildings, more than 7,200 apartments, self-storage facilities, office-warehouse complexes, hotels, medical office buildings, and over thirty housing subdivisions comprising 8,650 lots. The Samaritan Companies employ more than 300 and have corporate headquarters in Plainfield, IN. Mr. Shrout is a major Partner in a Multi-Family Portfolio of over $100,000,000 in asset value.

Matt StewardMatt Steward currently serves as an Equity Partner for the Steward-Carter Group; a leading business consulting firm who specializes in offering clients strategic advantages in the marketplace through obtaining economic incentives, site selection assistance, public and government relations, and general business consulting.

Prior to co-founding the Steward-Carter Group, Matt served in a variety of roles for both government and non-government entities. Specifically, he has directed economic development efforts for Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels; he served with one of America’s most innovative Mayors – former Indianapolis Mayor Stephen Goldsmith; he has managed three statewide political campaigns; he was a senior public relations executive for America’s fourth largest advertising agency – MARC USA; he has also served with Indiana’s Attorney General – Steve Carter.
