Forrest Adam : Advisor - Biography
Forrest Adam currently serves as SGI’s Chief Operations Officer with more than 24 years of experience in designing and deploying complex process solutions in support of the healthcare industry. He oversees SGI’s information technology, production, and fulfillment services ensuring the goal of continuous improvement and process innovation are achieved for the benefit of SGI clients. Prior to joining SGI, Mr. Adam was the MIS Director for a national retail pharmacy chain where he managed information systems supporting the largest pharmacy warehouse in the country. Since joining SGI, Mr. Adam has spearheaded numerous process innovations including deployment of radio frequency inventory tracking, client relationship management (CRM), a wide array of internet ordering sites, and an award winning client inventory management portal.

Anthony Browne : Advisor - Biography
Anthony Browne currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Health Systems International; a leading provider of outsourced medical cost management solutions to healthcare payors and provider networks throughout the world. Mr. Browne has over 16 years of financial and operational management experience previously with an international accounting and consulting firm and most recently in his career prior to HSI, with Wabash National, a publicly-held transportation manufacturing company. Mr. Browne has a strong background in mergers and acquisitions and the private equity industry, including experience with Murphree Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital firm; Bank of America Financial Sponsors Group (advisors to the private equity community); and The Venture Capital Fellows. As the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Browne is currently responsible for leading all aspects of HSI’s daily operational and financial activities.

Ron Carter : Advisor - Biography
Ron Carter currently serves as an Equity Partner for the Steward-Carter Group; a leading business consulting firm who specializes in offering clients strategic advantages in the marketplace through obtaining economic incentives, site selection assistance, public and government relations, and general business consulting.Mr. Carter brings a wealth of senior public policy management experience from nearly 20 years of government service. Mr. Carter is expert on national security and business matters related to Homeland Security, Defense, logistics, and public-private partnerships. Throughout his career he has helped clients market their products to federal, state, and local government entities, and resolve disputes involving public policy matters.
Mr. Carter was an originating member of Transportation Security Administration, the largest government startup in history (growing to 55,000 employees in less than 12 months) joining former Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta’s TSA Task Force as its Chief of Staff just weeks after the 9/11 tragedy. During Mr. Carter’s tenure with the TSA, he served as a key senior manager in the federalization of aviation security, directly advising Secretary Mineta and his staff. Mr. Carter was also responsible for driving technology enhanced service provision in passenger, baggage, and cargo screening to meet strict Congressional mandates. Communicating with Congress and coordinating with Top 100 private industry, Mr. Carter was an integral part of the security measures undertaken by our nation for seven years. Previous to his tenure with the federal government, Mr. Carter served as Senior Policy Advisor to two cabinet level officers for the State of Tennessee.
A professional military officer, Mr. Carter is an 18 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps as a Commanding Officer, an M1A1 Abrams tank commander, and a specialist in logistics and transportation. Mr. Carter represented the Office of the Secretary of Defense reviewing and critiquing Top Secret/SCI war games and strategies, cutting-edge technologies, and future weapons platforms in support of DOD Transformation. A Lieutenant Colonel, he has recently completed a six-month joint tour in Africa as the senior military advisor to the Armed Forces of Liberia.
Having grown up in the music industry, Mr. Carter has been surrounded by entertainment industry professionals his entire life. His father, Fred Carter Jr., is a world-renowned guitarist whose credits include Simon & Garfunkel, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, B.B. King, The Band, and many others. His sister is Country Music Star and Country Music Association (CMA) “Song of the Year” award-winner, Deana Carter.
Mr. Carter holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
